Sagansa Utilities (formerly known as Sagansa Cleaner) ("we", "our", or "us") is a native macOS cleaning and file-management utility developed by Sagansa and distributed exclusively on the Mac App Store. It helps you reclaim disk space by cleaning stale developer and browser caches, orphaned app leftovers, and installation packages, and includes a dual-pane file manager. We highly value your privacy and are committed to protecting it.
Our Core Privacy Commitment: Sagansa Utilities collects zero data. All scanning, analysis, and cleaning run 100% on your Mac with no network connections whatsoever — the app has no network entitlement and is technically incapable of sending any data anywhere. There are no ads, no analytics, no telemetry, and no third-party SDKs.
Sagansa Utilities runs strictly inside Apple's App Sandbox and can only work with folders you explicitly grant access to:
The app is fully sandboxed in compliance with Apple's guidelines (Guideline 2.4.5). It never requests Full Disk Access or root privileges, and cannot read anything outside your granted folders.
On first launch you choose which folder(s) to allow — such as your Home folder — through the standard macOS system dialog (NSOpenPanel). Additional grants (e.g. /Library/Updates or an external drive) can be added or removed anytime.
Your folder grants are remembered using Apple's app-scoped bookmark mechanism so you don't have to re-grant access on every launch. These bookmarks are stored only on your Mac, inside the app's own sandbox container.
The app declares no network entitlements. It has no technical ability to open internet connections — nothing you store or scan can ever leave your device through this app.
All of the app's functionality — scanning, size calculations, the Mac Health Score, orphaned-app detection, file operations, and cleaning — is executed entirely and locally on your Mac. Scan results are processed in real time and never uploaded, logged, or transmitted anywhere.
To function conveniently across launches, the app stores the following data locally on your Mac only:
None of this data ever leaves your device, and we have no servers that receive copies of it.
Sagansa Utilities contains no advertising SDKs (no AdMob or similar), no analytics, no crash-reporting, and no tracking frameworks of any kind. The only third party involved is Apple itself:
The app runs inside the macOS App Sandbox with Hardened Runtime enabled, so its internal data (bookmarks, snapshots, preferences) is isolated from other applications. On top of that, Sagansa Utilities is designed so that it can never act without your knowledge:

Sagansa Utilities is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content, but it is a professional developer utility and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not collect any personal information from anyone — including children — because the app collects no data at all.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time when features are added or regulations change. Any updates will be published on this page with the latest revision date. Since the app collects no data, changes will never retroactively affect data that was never collected.
